June is Men's Health Month. To celebrate, and to educate, Healthinfo Island has three new displays:
  • Men Get It Too!
Some medical conditions that are commonly thought of as affecting women also affect men. Find out about male breast cancer, osteoporosis in men, even male menopause.
  • Recommended Medical Screenings for Men- What screenings do YOU need? Are you keeping close enough track of your health? Take the Men's Trivia Challenge.

Info Island - Library Art Gallery

Fran6 Parkin, French singer song writer, covers all styles of music, will be playing at The Library Art Gallery on Saturday May 1st at 1 PM SLT.
With this time slot we hope to attract more people from Europe.
Paintings by real life New Zealand artist Amanda Tomasoa (AmandaT Tamatzui) are still on display. make sure you see them before the next exhibition opens.

The Sci-Fi & Fantasy Portal hosts its March Film Discussion
Sunday, March 7 at 1 pm this month. (This coming Sunday, not Saturday.)

DR. WHO

Yes, that Dr. Who...the British Sci-fi television program 
presenting the adventures of the mysterious humanoid alien
known as "The Doctor" or "Dr. Who".

The Guinness World Records lists it as the "longest-running
science fiction television show in the world".  It began
in 1963.

It's become a cult television favorite in the British Isles,

We'll meet inside the Portal, main floor level toward the back right-
hand side.

then come to the Sci-fi & Fantasy Portal on Info Island and discuss it
with us.

Sunday's Golden Globe Award named  AVATAR  as the Best Drama of the
Year .  So it's a  lot more than just a well-done animated film.

Date : Sunday, January 24th at 1 pm on our Sky Platform where we can
use Voice.
