April 17 a Day of Remembrance

The third annual Day of Remembrance in Second Life will be recognized on April 17 with a variety of events.

During the day, there will be a small ceremony at Linden Memorial park, where Linden Lab will reveal the latest memorial to the park, while the group "Remembering our Friends" will also host a series of events.

The Day of Remembrance is a community event designed to commemorate the life, spirit, and creativity of all the residents who have left both the virtual and physical worlds. The memorial day was implemented by LL at the requests of residents as more and more began to experience the dead of a friend or loved one in First Life.
