Mutant Chronicles: Roleplay at Dark Eden

Dark Eden Owner/Creator Valorie Knoller with her demonic nepharite side-kick and body guard, neqa ris, (a.k.a. Kerris Skytower)
The original game first appeared on the scene in 1993 and has amassed a large and devoted following. It has spawned a franchise of card games, miniature war games, video games, novels (Mutant Chronicles by Matt Forbeck) and a movie. The Mutant Chronicles movie trailer touts, "The Darkest Age is Yet to Come."
Thanks to the creative mind and talent of Valorie Knoller, SL residents can join in on the roleplay at the Dark Eden sim which she designed and built inspired by the Mutant Chronicles.
Picture a distant future where Earth is a long since plundered desert, and humanity has spread (the great exodus) to the worlds of Venus, Mars, Mercury and the asteroids. The devastated Earth is the Dark Eden of Knoller's imagination, a retro scifi/steampunk themed environment. Replacing nation-states, four major megacorporations now run the earth. All four megacorporations are represented at Dark Eden along with the evil Dark Legion. The populace of Dark Eden is composed of humans, feline aliens, cyborgs and demons. As Knoller tells it, "The humans are in an epic battle for survival."
The four megacorporations are: Bauhaus, who have established a military base and are comprised of humans styled after the culture of continental Europe; The Brotherhood, a combination of old earth religions comprised of a Cardinal, Inquisitors, Missionaries, mystics, warriors and assassins all with the goal to stop the Dark Legions; Cybertronics, cyborgs, enhanced humans, the best of human and machine; kzin rebels, feline predators; and the Dark Legions, who crusade against humanity.
Knoller describes her own role as, "Ilian, Mistress of the void and master of the dark symmetry, the first of the Dark Apostles to come in from the void and the leader of the Dark Legions. I try to convert the humans to the darkness. We call these humans heretics." Knoller is accompanied everywhere by her demonic nepharite side-kick and body guard, neqa ris, (a.k.a. Kerris Skytower).
Knoller is anxious for more SL residents to become aware of Dark Eden, she explained, "Dark Eden is not a commercial sim. It's purely for people to enjoy and to role play, if they so desire." Knoller emphasized that vehicles (no more than 30 prims each) are permitted as she has developed extensive roadways that wind and climb to the top of the dark world she has created.
